As a client, you will receive partner level support and advice at a fraction of the cost charged by larger firms. This value for money approach allows MN Accountants Ltd to build up long term relationships with clients and their other advisors. Our fees are based on hourly time charges. A fee protection scheme is available to clients in the event of enquiries by HM Revenue & Customs.
If your business needs auditing, substantial bookkeeping support, legal work or independent financial advice, as a tax based practice we do not deal with these areas. However, there are a number of other professional firms we can recommend with whom we work closely and who are able to provide these services.
The original firm, McNeill & co, was started in March 2004 and is based near Winchester in Hampshire. It was founded by Hugh McNeill, who is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor.
McNeill & co was incorporated in November 2009 into the two companies MN Accountants Ltd and MN Tax Consultants Ltd. The firm was set up to help the many entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals and local professionals who would welcome tax advice that takes in a much broader vision than is available from many of the specialists in large firms.
In many larger practices, expert tax advice tends to be given by employees who concentrate on either corporate or personal tax. As such, they can usually only deal with the issues that are relevant to their own specialist areas and fail to take in the broader picture.
